Hebrews 11:1 (ESV) – “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
I wish. I hope. I pray. Have you ever woken to feel all these feelings swirling in your head at once?
Some days, my power is full and I’m in accomplishment mode. On those days strength is in abundance and tasks fall easily.
Then on other days, it’s a battle. Strength ebbs away and weakness flows over me. My enemy sees me as a bone to chew. The key is when you’re feeling strength is to realize that your faith will soon be needed. It’s only a matter of time.
Perspective also helps when you’re in a time of weakness. Keeping a journal or even just reviewing your thoughts helps me to focus and remember that these times don’t last forever either.
No matter what type of day you’re having God knows you and loves you as you are. You don’t need to do anything different – you don’t need to be anyone else. Your faith assures you that the sun will rise tomorrow and everything will be ok.
